Dr. Richard Winter | Credentials

 

Dr. Winter graduated from the University of California, San Francisco in 1975 Omicron Kappa Upsilon.  Prior to graduation Dr. Winter  served in the U.S. Coast Guard.  After graduation from dental school he moved with his wife and three children to San Jose, where he was in private practice for twenty-five years. 

 

After adding two more children, and ,moving to the Sacramento area, Dr. Winter opened a new practice in Elk Grove, California.  He has been in private practice in that office for the past eighteen years.

 

Dr. Winter has concentrated on providiing treatment for TMJ disorder, and cosmentic makeovers along with general dentistry.  His philosphy is to understand what factors influence one’s ability to function well dentally and treat patient’s accordingly.  His experience and gentle approach are appreciated by patients with anxiety.

 

In his free time Dr. Winter enjoys spending time with his family waterskiing (which now includes ten grandchildren)  and is an experienced aerobatic pilot.
