Comprehensive Examinations

 

We do very comprehensive examinations and evaluations of your dental health and take our time explaining our findings to you, as well as your treatment options.  Our Diagnostic procedures include a thorough visual examination, x-rays as needed including small x-rays to show cavities between the teeth and a panoramic x-ray that shows us the sinuses, the nasal passages, all of the roots of the teeth, the temporal mandibular joints (TMJ), and the entire jaw bone.

 

Sometimes impressions of the teeth are taken and models made that help us evaluate how spaces left over from extractions can be dealt with in order to create a good biting and chewing ability.
